Strawberries

I have been absent from the web since a while due to many family obligations, and especially taking care of my grand-son. No quilting or knitting these days, just a little spring gardening.

I did this drawstring bag five years ago for my little niece. Since then she is carrying it everywhere she goes. The lovely flower fabric is Anna Maria Horner's. I followed the print lines to embroider it.

On the fourth picture you can see the border of my Kaffe Fassett Fan quilt.

  2. I really like the technique of embroidery along fabric design. Years ago I made a throw for my MIL using the technique but that was long before I took pictures of my work. How silly back then.

Life has a way of making us choose our priorities. I always chose my family first too.

  4. What a delightful drawstring bag, I love the fabric you have used. Now, your wonderful fruit and flower philtres - beautiful - are they taken in Athens or France?
