What a beautiful day : the postman brought me a parcel from USA! So exciting!!
It is a present from an overseas Quilty friend. She is such a generous person : when she learnt that there is no quilt shop in Greece, she felt sorry for me and thought of sending me a surprise. What a delicate attention, I am so grateful for this!
Together with gorgeous yardages she added hexagons ready to be assembled and a charming rabbit lace panel. For sure my friend grasped my romantic soul!
Projects are already taking shape in my mind for a new quilt with those great fabrics. However I have to wait for next autumn to start, when returning from my holidays in France.

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Christine! I know you'll come up with something wonderful for those fabrics, but what will you do with the rabbit - it's absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteQuelle adorable attention !! Le monde des quilteuses est si généreux.....
ReplyDeleteLes tissus sont hyper romantiques !! J'adooore...Profite bien de ce précieux cadeau et cela ne m'étonne pas que les idées germent déjà dans ton esprit !! :))

ReplyDeleteLovely parcel :-)
ReplyDeleteI am surprised about the fact that they are no quilt shops in Greece; is it really possible that there is a corner of the world where quilting has not taken hold? :-)
xx
Such a lovely gift and wonderful surprise!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely surprise. Hard to believe there's no patchwork shops in Greece, how awful for you. You will have to stock up while you're on holidays.
