Zig Zag hand bag
Today, reading again this book, bought years ago, I decided to start sewing
a bag which pattern is inside. I always wanted to do so, but for an unknown reason,
I postponed it many times.
The point was to use my remains from Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
I assemble the triangles into squares
I ironed them, then the stripes.
Here I try to match them properly.
I will try to finish it and post it tomorrow.

Monday's group
This week we met at Eleni's house in Psychikon, a north suburb of Athens.
Eleni is working on the prepation of a craft sale. She is very creative, I love her work.
As every year at this time the craft sales started, and it is always a real pleasure for me to
admire the wonderful skills, and to make my Christmas shopping there.
Severine, Michele and Ginette.
Agnes and Severine.
Eleni's "crazy placemats" are great, she is mixing beautiful fabrics and her quilting
is very interesting!
I love this quilt, the stars are shining on a dull background.

Quilting group
We are a group of nine friends and we meet every monday to sew together.
We all of us are passionate by everything connected with patchwork and quilting.
This year, for the time being, we don't have a common project. Each one is bringing her
personal work.

Last year, Ginette won this quilt that we did in common,

Greek fishing boats
Although it is November, the weather is still very beautiful in Greece.
Last Friday, with the group of watercolourists, we went on an excursion
to Lavrio, a harbour situated at 60 km south of Athens.
There we did sketches and waterpaintings. The subject was wonderful, the light exceptional,
and at the same time I was painting, I was thinking that those colours inspire me for a new quilt!

Antique woolen quilt
I took those pictures yesterday in Michele's garden in Halandri.
Michele is a member of our quilting group and is the owner
of this wonderful patchwork, which she bought years ago in
California.

Turquoise inspiration
Just beautiful shades of turquoise.
I love those fabrics offered to me by my son's fiancee Chelsea,
coming back from a trip to Alaska!
