I am always thrilled when I receive an expected arrival of fabrics from the USA!
which is a color I don't tend to put often in my quilts. I may mix them with warm tunes with spice
names like saffron, paprika, mustard...
I was lucky, I found two jackpots, which means some more yardage for the same price!
I was unlucky, I had to pay tax!
Happy sewing to everybody!
Christine

Et l'autre jackpot...les douaniers grecs !!! ;) Mais quand on aime, on ne compte pas et je suis sure que ces jolis tissus deviendront un chef d'oeuvre de plus tombe des doigts de l'artiste..
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely fabric! Beautiful blues! I know you will make something wonderful with these!
ReplyDeleteChristine, just found your blog and started following you. I live in the states, but married a Greek. I spend many weeks a year in Greece (Naplion) I also dabble in watercolor painting. Looking forward to seeing what you're up to.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful package of fabric! I've not sewn with shot cottons yet but plan to one day.
ReplyDeleteLovely, very nice surprise with the extra fabric. I have some shot cottons I've earmarked for at least 3 projects. They are gorgeous fabics!
