Searching for some inspiration for the spring decoration of my home, I brought various magazines in the garden, a cup of coffee... I so enjoy this activity! Spring is a great source of inspiration for painting, quilting... the miracle season! The flowers are marvelous, especially the wisteria fragrant with scent.
In a COUNTRY HOMES & Interiors April 2014 issue, I found a picture of a quilt that reflects my spring happy mood and I am hopping up and down of impatience to start a similar one... fabric order??? Sure I will not find what I want in my stash...
Though it may be a more reasonable idea to finish my Gyspy Four Patch Quilt that I began to enlarge two months ago. See the progress here.

Love the look of that quilt in the potting shed, full of pretty Spring colour!
ReplyDeleteThe cosy chair and quilt look so enchanting - ready and waiting for a quilter! You have given us wonderful photos of flowers today but the wisteria is stunning, is this in your garden?
ReplyDeleteSuch nice inspiration! I can almost smell your wisteria. That old quilt in the chair is fabulous. I will love to see your version. Someday I might make one too. For now, too many projects are already started. Happy spring!

DeleteI knew that this wisteria . I tried to plant the wisteria at home , but we have a bit of a cold climate for wisteria . It grows poorly .
I also like to look at old magazines and books for inspiration. I especially like crochet designs from the 1940's. Your pictures are beautiful!
