Very nice photographs, most importantly remarkable traditional patchwork. While staring at the first picture, I let my view detect patterns through the light and dark colours of the squares.
I love your quilt! It is absolutely beautiful. My family had an opportunity to live near Paris for a couple years while my husband was on a work assignment. I loved it and hope to return one day!
The perfect Fall quilt. I love your variety of quilting Christine. From bright string quilts to civil war era! I think that's one reason I enjoy following your blog as I'm always inspired by your work. V:)

Beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love those civil war tones....perfect for a Fall quilt like this one!!! I need to try a four patch...I like it's simple, traditional finished look.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful quilt and especially because it is hand-quilted...takes longer ! :)
