Nottingham Village

Together with quilting, I enjoy building boxes with cardboards,

that I cut and cover with fabrics.

Here I chose fabrics from the line Nottingham Village, that

have an ancient touch.

This box has a removable compartment.

And this is my finished box,
which I will use to store my embroidery stuff.

Pincushions

In the December 2007 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting,

from Better Homes and Gardens, I found a pattern for very cute

pincushions.

I love the fabrics they used.

I love as well those small bags (in the same issue), very simple to do.

The success depends on the choice of the fabrics

and the buttons.

Christmas Eve

All my four children came for Christmas from Chicago, London, and Athens

for a great family gathering.
