Four Patch top

Virginia Creeper

After being uncertain about it, I began to like my Gypsy top, especially when displayed outside! For this, its destiny may be
a picnic blanket. The size is 70"x 84". Each block mesures 7"/7".
While I took these pictures with sunshine and a beautiful blue sky, I realized looking at the virgina creeper
that fall is here. I love the red color of it and I love automn, leaving behind the summer's heat!

Wishes for a beautiful Sunday.
Christine

  3. The Virginia creeper is turning here also, some of first fall color. I love the way the quilt picked up all the color in the mosaic. What's not to love! Looking forward to how you will quilt it!

  10. I love the soft and romantic feel it has. You're photography is so wonderful, you could make an old pair of sneakers look good though. Love how you captured this with the light and the colors.

  29. I have a very scrappy quilt that I wasn't sure I liked when I finished it. Now it's become one of my favorites! (I also threatened to use it solely for picnics but I think it's only been on one.)
