After my last February misadventure, two months in bed, then wearing an orthopedic corset, here I am again going out for the first time. What a pleasure for this first going out to enjoy this wonderful bazaar that our friend Eleni was attending with many new items, great personal creations...! On the first picture I am having one of her lovely bags and I am wearing the green jacket I knitted last winter.

During my convalescence, little by little, I started knitting and sewing for my six months' old grand daughter.

With the green yarn I knitted a large shawl.

As regards the Log Cabin baby quilt I went on hand quilting.

  2. Oh my! I missed your last post and didn't know about your injury. I'm very happy to hear that you're recovering, and now standing on your own two feet in your beautiful green sweater. What an ordeal! The little pants and sweater for your granddaughter are so precious. She will be so well dressed in her grandmother's hand made creations. As always, I love your sense of style and taste. Best wishes for continued recovery. xo

  9. I was recuperating from my own surgery when this happened to you so I guess I missed it. I know how crappy it is to be laid up for a while. I'm so glad your back is healing and you are able to be out and about. You look great and I sure like what you have been making while you were down.
    xx, Carol
